US shooting: 4 killed, including a 1-year-old boy, at a Dallas home

Officers responding to the Dallas homes shooting in the far southeast area of the US city found that five people had been injured. The 1-year-old boy was critically injured along with a 15-year-old girl. The boy died during treatment at the hospital.

Dallas (US) : Four people, including a 1-year-old boy, were killed and a 15-year-old girl was injured in a shooting at a Dallas home, police said. Officers responding to the home Sunday afternoon in the far southeast area of the city found that five people had been shot.

Three adults died at the scene; the 1-year-old boy and 15-year-old were taken to a hospital, where the 1-year-old died and the teen was in stable condition. Police said on Sunday that a suspect was not in custody but that it was believed to be an isolated incident. There were no updates to release Monday morning, police said.

The Dallas County medical examiner's office has identified those killed as Logan De La Cruz, 1; Vanessa De La Cruz, 20; Karina Lopez, 33; and Jose Lopez, 50.

In the last week of October this year, a fight broke that out among teenagers at a Lousiana house party led to a shooting incident. Someone among the revellers pulled out a gun and started firing indiscriminately. Six teenagers were shot at in this incident.

In October third week, a 19-year-old man shot three persons dead and later ended his own life at Toppenish in US. Following the incident, the Toppenish Police investigated into the matter and identified no outstanding suspects. They also announced that there was no ongoing threat to the community in the aftermath of the shooting.
