Shuafat: Clashes between Palestinian protesters and Israeli security forces broke out on Tuesday in the outskirts of Jerusalem after Israeli authorities bulldozed a school in the Shuafat refugee camp in the east.
Visual of clashes and demolished school Israeli authorities said the school was renovated without proper permission.
Palestinians said the renovation work was necessary because the foundations of the school were weak.

Early on Tuesday Israeli security forces ordered the children to be evacuated from the school before bringing in heavy machinery to demolish the school, a witness said.
School director Mohammed Alkam said the Israeli authorities acted without a decision issued by the Supreme Court.

He said the school has petitioned the Supreme Court to approve the reconstruction work.
There was no immediate comment from Israeli authorities.
