Tehran: Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman says that officials in the Islamic Republic planned to meet on Sunday night to discuss their next step out of the nuclear deal and that it will be even bigger than initially planned.
Abbas Mousavi commented on Sunday during a briefing with journalists after a US airstrike killed Quds Force commander Gen. Qassem Soleimani.
Abbas Mousavi said decisions previously made for the 5th step could be overshadowed by the recent developments referring to the killing.
If taken, it would be the fifth step to break terms of Tehran's 2015 nuclear deal with world powers, which saw Iran limit its enrichment of uranium in exchange for the lifting of economic sanctions.
