London:The Royal Botanic Garden at Kew marks the start of London's festive countdown with a mesmerising light show and also allowing the visitors to be captivated by the Christmas spirit.
More than one million lights illuminate the Royal Botanic Gardens providing an after-dark spectacular to get even the most incorrigible Scrooge feeling the Christmas spirit.
Kew's natural landmarks were covered with colourful lights providing a magical environment for the visitors. There's still over a month until Christmas but that's not stopping anybody here from feeling the festive spirit.
Daire Basra, head of event operations at Kew Gardens said that the Treetop Walkway was transformed into the most popular attraction by 30,000 lights twinkling to the music. The next stop is the Cherry Tree Walk which went a step ahead in providing a prodigious view of an early Cherry blossom for the bare cherry tree.
