Bali:Glowing red lava and thick smoke illuminated the night sky in Bali as Mount Agung erupted on Friday night affecting air services briefly.
The erruption lasted four and a half minutes spilling lava and incandescent rocks around three kilometres from the crater.
While nine flights between Bali and Australia were canceled on Friday night, six flights of Qantas and Virgin Australia airlines were postponed, said an airport official.
