Vietnamese FM arrives in N Korea ahead of Trump-Kim summit

Pyongyang: Vietnam's Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh arrived in Pyongyang on Tuesday ahead of a new round of talks between North Korea and the United States.

Negotiations between Washington and Pyongyang appear to have stalled following recent meetings between representatives from both countries aimed at finding ways to curb North Korea's nuclear programme.

President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un have agreed to a meeting on February 27-28 to be held in the capital Hanoi or the seaside city of Danang on February 27 and 28.

Earlier this month, Trump had made an announcement over the second summit with North Korea during his annual State of the Union address.
