Tehran: The partial withdrawal from the nuclear deal has received the support of thousands of Iranians across the country on Friday. People came down on the streets to stage rallies in support of country's nuclear deal ultimatum with many chanting "death to America" and "death to Israel".

Iran's partial withdrawal from the nuclear deal came a year after US President Donald Trump pulled out of the agreement.

President Hassan Rouhani has accepted the conditions laid down by the 2015 agreement and decided to stop exporting Uranium but in return he has provided the European leaders with 60 days deadline to find ways to shield Iran's oil industry and banking sectors from US sanctions.

Thousands of Iranians back partial N-deal withdrawal

Rouhani has been under intense domestic and political pressure to produce some kind of counter measure following the US withdrawal.

The European Union on Thursday urged Iran to respect the international agreement curbing the Islamic Republic's nuclear ambitions, and added that the bloc aims to continue trading with the country despite US sanctions.

But so far, the EU and its member nations have not offered any new plans.
