Bangkok:Rescuers in the southern Thailand town of Karbi pulled out a feisty four-metre-long king cobra after an hour-long operation on Tuesday.
The video shows that a man caught the world's largest venomous reptile after chasing it into a dark and cramped drainage pipe. During the chase, the cobra tried to escape by gliding back into the pipe but was pulled out by its tail.
However, the snake was four-metre-long and weighed 15 kilos (33 pounds) and is considered as the third largest. After taking it out from in the pipe it was then released into the wild.
