Incheon: The remains of Chinese soldiers who died during the Korean War were put in coffins on Monday in a ceremony held by the South Korean Defence Ministry.
Officials wrapping remains The remains of 10 Chinese soldiers were wrapped and placed into coffins to prepare for the repatriation ceremony being held on Wednesday.
The remains will be buried at a martyrs' cemetery in Shenyang, China.

A total of 589 remains of Chinese volunteer soldiers killed in that war has been transferred by South Korea in a span of five years.
In October 1950, Chinese troops under the name of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army (CPV) assisted North Korean armies, and engaged in the Korean War (1950-1953) fights to resist the United States and aid North Korea.
