Kim is expected to pass through en route to the capital, Hanoi, for his second summit with US President Donald Trump.

It is unclear if Kim will disembark in Dong Dang and take a car to Hanoi or if his train will travel all way to the capital.

A heavy military presence was seen outside Dong Dang station, as well as nearby roads and bridges, on Monday morning.
