The 'Namaste Trump' event is being organised on the lines of 'Howdy Modi' event when PM Modi was accorded a rousing welcome by over 50,000 Indian-Americans in Huston during his visit to the US in September last. This was the largest-ever gathering that the US has ever witnessed when a foreign leader visited its soil.
