Massive fire breaks out at Russian power station

The blaze started after a gas container caught fire in which 12 people were injured.

Mytishchi: At least 12 people were injured on Thursday after a massive fire broke out at a thermal power plant in the Mytishchi near Moscow.

According to sources, the blaze started after the gas container caught fire. A unit of the plant stopped producing power after experiencing an outage.A large number of the emergency ministry's units have been deployed to the site. More than 70 firefighters are tackling the blaze.
