Badoush: They are down but not out. After loosing their key territories, Islamic State militants are operating from undergrounds in Iraq.
They are trying to restore the extortion racket which was the financial backbone of the group. The IS militants are hiding in caves and mountains across the northern provinces of Iraq, as they are desperate to make a comeback to secure their position and their territories.
Badoush, a small town was one of the main territories of IS militants. But after the battle between the US allied forces and IS militants, the militants lost their control over their land. That region has now become a battleground where the security forces are trying to nab the militants.
