Islamabad: Pakistan is seeing fiery protests after the arrest of a Right-wing leader with hundreds of supporters of the cleric spilling onto the streets and attacking security forces and demanding for the person's release.
After protests broke out at numerous places in major cities of Pakistan last week to oppose the detention of Saad Hussain Rizvi, the chief of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), a video has surfaced on Twitter where a man, allegedly in Ranger's uniform, can be seen asking the Pakistan Army to support the TLP.
However, ETV Bharat does not vouch for the authenticity of the video that has been tweeted.
In the video message, the man is apparently asking the Pakistan Army personnel not to go against Islam just to save their jobs or to gain cheap popularity.
"You need not follow your commanders' orders which are against Islam. You just listen to them but do not follow. Make sure that your actions do not harm people of Tehreek-e-Labbaik," the man said in the video.
