Imran to meet US President Donald Trump

This will be Imran's first visit to the US after coming to power in Pakistan. The talks would be focused on improving ties between the two countries.

Islamabad: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan will meet the US President Donald Trump on July 22 in Washington.

On Thursday Pakistan's Foreign Office said that the talks would be focused on improving ties between the two countries.

Media quoted Pakistan's Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal as saying that Imran Khan will be visiting Washington on the invitation of US President Trump.

This will be Imran's first visit to the US after coming to power in Pakistan.

Two days before the US State Department designated the Balochistan Liberation Army as a global terrorist organisation and a day later Pakistan's Counter-Terrorism Department registered a case of terror financing against Hafiz Saeed.
