Beijing:To strengthen brotherhood, Pakistan allowed Chinese vessels to fish in the country's exclusive economic zone, a media report said.
At least 20 Chinese deep-sea trawlers have arrived in the economic zone off Sindh and Baluchistan provinces in the first week of August, the report added.
As a result of which a massive protest has been erupted by the Pakistan Fisherfolk Forum (PFF) to oppose Islamabad's decision to sell seas to Beijing after selling its land for the Chinese mega-dams projects.
The PFF has announced a campaign against the vessels' arrival because they fear that this will further deplete Pakistan's marine resources.

According to a report, fishing is a source of livelihood for more than 2.5 million people in Pakistan's coastal towns.
The Pakistani fishermen do not want the Chinese to fish in their waters.
As they generally use small boats that can't venture into deep waters, they are afraid of the well equipped Chinese vessels that may deprive them of a good catch making things worse.

Previously, huge protests and a torch rally was held last week in Muzaffarabad city of Pakistan occupied Kashmir to oppose the construction of the mega-dams on the Neelum-Jhelum River.
