Beijing: China on Monday announced it would impose visa restrictions on US individuals deemed to be interfering in Hong Kong-related affairs, days after the US Senate passed a bill imposing sanctions on businesses and individuals that undermine Hong Kong's autonomy.
The Senate bill targets police units that have cracked down on Hong Kong protesters, as well as Chinese Communist Party officials responsible for imposing the national security law for Hong Kong.
