Shenzhen: At least 10 people have been killed in flooding triggered by a sudden rainstorm in southern China, local authorities said.
Search operations are underway in Shenzhen early on Saturday morning for one missing person, according to one source within the city's emergency management bureau.
Local media reported that a rainstorm in Shenzhen on Thursday evening triggered floods that washed away people working to dredge the river in the districts of Luohu and Futian.
