Hyderabad: Beijing on Monday said it never recognized the 'so-called Arunachal Pradesh illegally established on Chinese territory' and added that it doesn't have any information on five missing Indians in the region.

A team of five hunters armed with muskets belonging to the Tagin tribe from Nacho village in Arunachal Pradesh’s Upper Subansiri district were picked up by a team of People's Liberation Army (PLA) soldiers on Thursday. The Indian Army had sent a message to PLA about five missing citizens in the region.

India and China are engaged in a standoff since April-May over the transgressions by the Chinese Army in multiple areas including the Finger area, Galwan valley, Hot springs and Kongrung Nala. The talks between the two sides have been going on for the last few months including five Lieutenant general-level talks.
