BRICS summit to be held on Nov 17

The BRICS nations are set to hold a virtual summit by mid-November as countries face multiple challenges in a year devastated by the conflicts.

Hyderabad:The BRICS summit is scheduled to be held on November 17 amid the multiple challenging events unfolding among the group's nations.

“BRICS Partnership for Global Stability, Shared Security and Innovative Growth,” is the 12th summit's theme.

The summit aims for multifaceted cooperation between the BRICS countries and to contribute to raising living standards.

Despite the conflict-hit 2020, all five member nations have continued close strategic partnerships on all the three major pillars: peace and security, economy and finance, cultural and people-to-people exchanges.
