Body of Nepal minister, 6 other crash victims brought to Kathmandu

Bodies of Nepal tourism minister Rabindra Adhikari along with six others killed in a helicopter crash on Wednesday reached Kathmandu today. The helicopter was crashed on a mountain in north eastern Nepal.

Kathmandu: Bodies of the seven people killed in a helicopter crash in Nepal yesterday, including the country's tourism minister Rabindra Adhikari, arrived at Kathmandu airport on Thursday.

The helicopter, operated by Dynasty Air, crashed on a mountain in north eastern Nepal on Wednesday while flying in bad weather.

An army helicopter transported the bodies from the crash site to Kathmandu where they were taken by ambulance to hospital.

There, doctors were set to perform autopsies before handing the victims' bodies to their families.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokharel, who was at the airport for the arrival of the bodies, said it was a sad moment for the entire nation.
