9 killed, 11 injured in suicide attack on Pak army convoy: Reports

Hyderabad: As many as nine Pakistan army personnel were killed and more than 11 were injured in a suicide attack on their convoy at Quetta in Balochistan province of Pakistan on Sunday morning, media reported.

According to The Balochistan Post's report, the attack took place on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route. The Baloch Raji Ajoi Sangar (BRAS) has claimed the responsibility for the attack.

The Pakistan army convoy was attacked hours before the Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Pakistan.

What is BRAS

BRAS is an alliance of three Baloch pro-freedom organisations- Balochistan Liberation Front, Baloch Liberation Army and Baloch Republican Guard.
