19 Indians elected MPs in Canada election

Indian-Canadians have won a record number of 19 seats in the Canadian election of those 19, 18 are of Punjabi origin.

New Delhi: A total of 19 Indian Canadians have been elected in Canada elections, of which 13 are from Trudeau's government while Jagmeet Singh is the only from NDP and four Punjabi MPs from the Conservatives.

9. Ruby Sahota (Brampton North, ontario)

10. Sonia Sidhu (Brampton South, Ontario)

11. Bardish Chagger (Waterloo, Ontario)

12. Raj Saini (Kitchener center. Ontario)

Justin Trudeau's Liberal Party has won 157 seats. There are 122 seats for the Conservative Party. Jagmeet Singh's party NDP has reached the fourth position with 24 seats. At the same time, Liberal Party leader Justin Trudeau is set to become Canada's prime minister once again in Canada.

It is worth mentioning that there are a total of 338 parliamentary seats in Canada. The majority figure for forming a government is 170 which has not received any result in the latest results. But it is clear that Justin Trudeau will be in office again.
