Maryland: A small plane made an emergency landing in the shallow ocean waters of a Maryland beach after the pilot experienced some trouble in the engine of the aircraft, Maryland police said.
Trevor H. Deihl (23) took off in his Cessna plane from Reedville, Virginia, on Tuesday for a flight to the Ocean City airport, media reported quoting Ocean City police.
Police said Deihl told them he was about 1.6 kilometres from shore when he began experiencing engine trouble and glided toward the shallow water for an emergency landing.
