Watch: Huge fire breaks out at Ontario airport hangar

A major fire broke out at Brampton Flying Club in Ontario. While an aeroplane gutted in the flame, one person is missing in the mishap.

Caledon, Ontario: Caledon fire crews battled a huge blaze at the Brampton Flying Club Monday afternoon.

Firefighters say when they arrived they found an airplane engulfed in flames, inside a hangar. The fire quickly spread to the hangar itself.

One person is currently missing, the town said in a statement.

It is not known whether anyone was injured as a result of the blaze. The cause of the fire is undetermined.

A video shows heavy black smoke billowing from the roof of the hangar, which appears to have partly caved or collapsed.

A number of fire trucks and firefighters are on scene.
