The United States which has extended its support to Guaido has sent humanitarian aid to the country. However, the Venezuelan military loyal to the embattled President Maduro has not allowed the US supplies to enter the country.
Why Venezuela needs aid

Already, the annual inflation rate has reached 1,300,000% in the last 12 months (till November 2018) making it difficult for its people to afford essential commodities.
Over the last four months, the central American nation is grappling with hunger, poverty, unemployment, crime and drugs.
Maduro in his past six-year term has miserably failed to tackle with these issues effectively. Nautrally, people are looking for an alternative.
By 2017 hunger had escalated to the point of no return, almost 90% of the population was living in poverty, and more than half did not have enough income to meet their basic food needs.
From the beginning of the crisis to 2017, more than 2.3 million Venezuelans have left the country.

US aid to Venezuela
The first shipment included food kits for 5,000 Venezuelans and high-protein nutritional supplements that can treat an estimated 6,700 children with moderate malnutrition.
Who supports whom
The present situation in trouble-mounted Venezuela has divided the world in two groups internationally. Morethan 20 countries including the world's most influential country the US, European Union countries, Australia, Canada, Israel have extended thier supports to the interim pesident Guaido, while Maduro has backing from countries like Russia, China, Cuba, Turkey and Iran.
