Caracas: Venezuela has been the hot seat of political fight for quite some time now. This fight has resulted in lots of hardships for the residents. Caracas got another blackout on Friday. This is a second power cut in just one month which has further hit the already struggling central American country.
Communications Minister Jorge Rodriguez said Thursday that electricity had been restored in most of the country, though some areas remained without power and experts have warned that the system is vulnerable to further disruptions.
Venezuela was once the most prosperous Latin American country. But not now. It suffers from lack of basic facilities like food, medicine and electricity. The blackout that happened earlier this month was the worst ever in Venezuela. Economy has taken a bad hit. People are leaving the country in more numbers now than before.
