Washington:TheUS Secret Service lifted the lockdown at White House, reopening entrances and exits to campus for both staff and media.
The lockdown was in effect for a little over an hour.
Protest in front of White House Hundreds of people gathered in Lafayette Park near the White House after marching in the nation's capital to protest against the death of George Floyd while in police custody.
Protesters shouted 'No justice, no peace' and 'I can't breath as the march unfolded.

The march took place several hours after prosecutors charged Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin with third-degree murder and manslaughter.
Chauvin could be seen on video on Monday with his knee pressed into the neck of Floyd, who was handcuffed and unarmed.
Authorities filed a complaint that Chauvin had his knee on Floyd’s neck for eight minutes and 46 seconds.
