Sao Paulo: A laser rainbow was projected into the sky over Sao Paulo on Sunday, to symbolize the presence of the LGBTQ community, who couldn't attend Pride this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Puerto Rican artist Yvette Mattern decided to shine the colours of the rainbow flag to highlight LGBTQ visibility in Brazil.
Normally hundreds of thousands of people would fill the streets of Sao Paulo for its world-famous Pride parade, but since the COVID-19 outbreak, events with large crowds have been prohibited to curb the spread of the virus.
