Imran meets Mike Pompeo

The meeting came after the controversial remark of Trump over the Kashmir.

Washington: Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Tuesday met in Washington for bilateral discussions.

Imran met US President Donald Trump on Monday and discussed peace deal in Afghanistan.

Trump declared that he could end the longest U.S. war in a week but doesn't want to kill millions and wipe Afghanistan "off the face of the earth."

US President praised Imran Khan and sought his help in negotiating a peace deal in neighboring Afghanistan

Trump has been sharply critical of Pakistan and now hopes Khan's government will use its influence with the Taliban to advance a peace deal and help the US to withdraw from the war.
