Port-au-Prince: Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Haiti's capital, Port-au-Prince on Thursday, demanding better security and an end to the violence which has taken grip of the city over the past year.
Many blame the government's lack of enforcement for their inability to take back control of the streets.
Thursday's demonstration swelled to hundreds of concerned citizens who marched along main avenues while setting up barricades of burning tyres that blackened the sky with thick smoke.
