Missouri: A three-year-old girl sustained serious injuries after a woman employee of a day care center in Missouri threw her against a cabinet.
According to media reports, the girl sustained injuries on February 1 at the Brighter Day Care and Preschool in St. Louis County. She received seven stitches in the hospital.
Relatives of the victim were initially told that she was hurt during a fall. But what left their jaws drop was when the surveillance video showed a woman throwing the girl against a cabinet.
The family's attorney Jennifer Hansen said they didn't know what really happened. But, the woman worker was fired immediately after the video surfaced and seen by the director of the day care center.
Police and state child care workers are investigating into the matter.
