Tapachula: Nearly 350 migrants who forced their way into southern Mexico joined a larger group to enter the US border.
Claudia Jaqueline Sandoval, 43, from El Progreso, Honduras is one among the migrant caravan walking towards Tapachula with her daughter and a group of 2,000 migrants on Friday. Claudia said that she along with 16 friends started her journey on Wednesday from San Pedro Sula bus station but today only seven of tham are walking with her.
The main motive behind her journey is that she wants to meet her son in US as it has been 2 years since she heard last from him. Scarcity of money is another reason for her to hoof on towards US border. She not only wants to meet him but also wants to meet her 17 year old daughter who left for US in last year's migrants caravan.
