Tapachula: several people injured after clashes erupted between African migrants and Mexican National Guard officials on Tuesday, more than a week after officials sealed off the main entrance of the migrant camp named '21st century' in the southern city of Tapachula, near Guatemala.

The migrants said that they were demanding to leave the country, and head to the US.

The move was part of a deal on irregular immigration reached with Washington to head off stiff tariffs that President Donald Trump threatened to slap on all imports from Mexico.
