Santiago:Anti-government protests continued in Santiago on Friday, although the number of protesters is low when compared to the start of the demonstrations that began on October 18 last year.
The protests began in Chile's capital, Santiago in response to the rise in the metro's fare, the increased cost of living, privatisation and inequality prevalent in the country.
26 people have died in protests that were sparked by an increase in subway fares in Santiago, and transformed into a protest on wide-ranging issues of inequality.
