Los Angeles: About 100,000 evacuated their homes on Friday morning after the out of control wildfire reached the city's suburbs.
According to the officials, the so-called Saddleridge brush fire was set in motion on Thursday evening in the hills of San Fernando Valley and later was provoked by the Santa Ana winds and damaged at least 25 homes and consumed over 7,542 acres of land.
Authorities said that dry conditions and heavy winds ignited the dynamic fire.
At least three deaths were reported due to the fire among which a man in his 50s died due to cardiac arrest while trying to save his house.

The fire department has dispatched a team of more than 1,000 firefighters supported by helicopters who are trying to contain the flame by dropping water on the affected areas.
According to the fire department authorities, 12,700 homes were ordered to evacuate the area.
Meanwhile, millions of people in northern California were affected due to a power cut off by the Pacific Gas & Electric. At least 312,000 people remained in the dark due to the power cut which was designed to reduce the threat of wildfire.
The Pacific Gas & Electric company defended their move saying that it was done for safety reasons and will take time to restore the power.
Earlier in November 2018, the deadliest wildfire was sparked due to Pacific Gas & Electric's faulty power lines which destroyed the Paradise town and killed 86 people.
