Khartoum: The sit-in protest continued in Khartoum as the meeting between the ruling generals and protesters to decide military's role in transition to civilian rule yielded no results.
Protest continues in Sudan The last round of the talks between the two parties was held on Monday night.
The generals and the protesters are divided on what role the military should have in the transition to civilian rule.
"The Transitional Military Council must step away and not issue demands for power," said one protester.

The protesting group, Forces for the Declaration of Freedom and Change has said it insists on "limited military representation" in a sovereign council led by civilians.
The military forced President Omar al-Bashir from the office on April 11 and has since jailed him and other former senior officials.
