Macomia: Residents in Mozambique are struggling hard to recover from the destruction caused by Cyclone Kenneth a week ago.
Life is still far from normal in Mozambique after Cyclone Kenneth The damage is extensive, and in the aftermath, thousands of people have lost their homes, their belongings and their livelihoods.
Nacate, a village in the district of Macomia, was among the worst hit.
Many homes were destroyed by uprooted trees, while others had their roofs completely torn off.

Cyclone Kenneth was one of the strongest storms recorded in mainland Africa.
The death toll so far stands at 38 and more than 160,000 others have been directly affected.
