Hyderabad:Since it was announced, Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming movie Jawan with South director Atlee, has generated a lot of buzz. The most recent update claims that Kamal Haasan's Oru Kaidhiyin Diary served as inspiration for the movie. Aakhree Raasta (1986) featuring Amitabh Bachchan was an adaptation of Kamal Haasan's Oru Kaidhiyin Diary, which now served as inspiration for Jawan, according to reports.
The main plot of these legendary films, which centred on revenge, starred superstars in dual roles as father and son. The films had two of Indian film's biggest superstars and also one of their career-defining movies. According to sources, SRK also plays a father and son in the upcoming commercially entertaining movie with a comparable conflict theme.
According to reports, Atlee is a major Kamal Haasan fan and wants to give the 1980s movie his own unique interpretation. Nothing has, however, been declared in a formal manner as of yet. Whether Jawan is an adaptation or a homage to the classic films will be made clear by the film's teaser in the coming weeks.
