Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan's first song Zinda Banda sets the tone of the film

The first song from Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film Zinda Banda is out now. It stars Sanya Malhotra and Priya Mani along with scores of female dancers shaking a leg with the superstar.

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Superstar Shah Rukh Khan first song from his much anticipated movie Jawan was dropped on Monday. The song slated as the sound of jawan- Zinda Banda shows Shah Rukh dancing with Sanya Malhotra and Priya Mani in different settings. He is accompanied by an army of female dancers matching steps with him.

The song is titled Zinda Banda in Hindi, Vandha Edam in Tamil, and Dhumme Dhulipelaa in Telugu. Releasing the song, makers wrote: "Come, join the celebration & dance to the beats of Zinda Banda, the first song from the highly-awaited film Jawan directed by Atlee. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Deepika Padukone (in a special appearance) and is set to release in cinemas on 7th September 2023 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu!"

The peppy number is sung by Anirudh Ravichander, and penned by Irshad Kamil. Anirudh is most known for writing his debut song, Why This Kolaveri Di, which was performed by Dhanush.

Jawan makers on Monday morning also unveiled a new poster of the first song of the upcoming action thriller film Jawan. In the poster, the actor could be seen striking a pose with a dapper look. He donned a black shirt and accessorized his look with black shades. The poster reads, "Prepare for the sound of Jawan."

Soon after the actor shared the poster, fans flooded the comment section with red hearts, fire emoticons and shared their reactions. “JAWAN ka time ageya,” a fan commented. Another fan wrote, “MASSSS.” One more wrote, “Can’t wait for the song.”

The music of Jawan is given by Anirudh Ravichander. Directed by Atlee, Jawan will release worldwide in theatres on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi will be seen sharing the screen with SRK in the film. Deepika Padukone also has a special appearance in the movie.

In Jawan, fans will also see Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, and Ridhi Dogra in important roles. Jawan is SRK’s second release of 2023 after Pathaan, which broke several box office records and turned out to be the biggest hit of SRK's career so far.
