Sanjay Dutt remembers mother Nargis on her death anniversary with throwback picture

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt and his sister Priya Dutt wrote posts in memory of their mother Nargis on the anniversary of her passing.

Hyderabad:On the 42nd anniversary of Nargis Dutt's passing, actor Sanjay Dutt and his sister Priya Dutt paid tribute to their late mother. Sanjay and Priya posted old photos to Instagram on Wednesday to honour their mother. Sanjay posted a childhood photo of himself and Priya with his mother yesteryear actor Nargis on Instagram.

A young Sanjay can be seen grinning as he gazes at the camera in the monochrome photograph. In the picture, Priya is sitting on his chest while their mother Nargis is looking at her daughter holding her hand.

Sanjay is wearing a striped T-shirt in the snap, while Nargis was dressed in cultural attire. "Miss you, Maa!" Sanjay captioned the image, adding, "your warmth and affection guide me every day, and I will be eternally grateful for the teachings you taught me (black heart emoji)." Maanayata Dutt, his wife, responded to the message with red heart emoticons.

Priya posted a note on Instagram and included it in a video montage. The collage included various throwback photos of Nargis, her husband-actor Sunil Dutt, Sanjay, Priya, and Namrata Dutt. "Losing you at such a young age impacted my life," she said, adding, "but the few years I spent with you had a greater impact."

"You taught me love and compassion," she wrote, adding, "you taught me to grin through difficulties and find the good in everything. These were the most significant lessons I'd ever learned. I am confident that you serve as my lovely guardian angel at all times. Love you always." 'My Guardian Angel' sticker was also added to the post. Priya left the post's caption blank and only wrote, "1/06/1929 - 3/05/1981."
