RRR fame Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Konidela's baby shower was held in Hyderabad over the weekend, and the guest list was a star-studded affair with Allu Arjun and Sania Mirza in attendance.

Hyderabad:Soon-to-be parents, Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela, celebrated their baby shower over the weekend in Hyderabad, which was a starry affair. Family members and close friends of the couple were present at the intimate event to bless the couple. Ram Charan's wife Upasana took to her official Instagram account to share pictures from the event, which showed Tollywood actor Allu Arjun and Tennis star Sania Mirza in attendance.

Upasana is currently seven months pregnant and so her family members and close friends arranged for her to have a lavish baby shower. In addition to posting a picture of himself and Upasana on his Instagram Stories, Allu Arjun also left her a heartfelt message. Allu Arjun uploaded a photo from the baby shower and captioned it, "Soo happy for my Sweetesttt Upsi @Upasanakaminenikonidela (sic)," using a heart emoji.

Upasana posted several images of herself and her friends from the event on her Instagram stories. She shared a photo with her mother and mother-in-law as well. The expecting mother looked lovely in a glittery pink gown, whereas Sania was seen wearing a bright yellow shirt paired with black trousers.

This is going to be Ram Charan and Upasana's first baby. The couple had been married for more than a year now. Talking about late pregnancy, Upasana once said: 'I am overjoyed and proud that I chose to become a mother when we wanted to, not when society wanted us to. So, ten years after our marriage, we decided to have a child now, and I believe it's the best time because both of us are thriving, both of us are financially secure, and we can care for our children on our own," she explained.

She continued, "It was a decision we both made. As a couple, we refused to buckle under pressure from the outside world, our family." She had also made it clear that the baby would be born in India as Ram Charan's frequent outings outside of India gave in way to speculations that the couple may be preparing to give birth to their first child in the US.
