Manushi Chhillar all set to make her debut at 2023 Cannes Film Festival

Manushi Chhillar, former Miss World and actor, will make her red carpet debut at the famous 2023 Cannes Film Festival. The 76th edition will take place in France from May 16 to May 27. She will attend the prestigious event with Bollywood star Anushka Sharma.

Mumbai: Former Miss World and actor Manushi Chhillar is all set to make her debut on the red carpet at the prestigious 2023 Cannes Film Festival. The 76th edition will be held from May 16 to May 27 in France. She will be joining Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma at the prestigious celebration.

The official poster for the 2023 Cannes Film Festival featured actor Catherine Deneuve created by Lionel Avignon and Stefan de Vivies at Hartland Villa from a photo by Jack Garofalo during the shooting of La Chamade. The poster was chosen to pay tribute to Deneuve for her contributions to movies. The festival will open with Jeanne du Barry directed by Maiwenn. The festival will close with Pixar's film Elemental directed by Peter Sohn.

A number of Bollywood personalities such as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Sharmila Tagore, and Deepika Padukone, among others, have been part of the jury for the French festival. Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor, Mallika Sherawat, Pooja Hegde, Hina Khan, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Aditi Rao Hydari have also walked the red carpet.

Manushi Chhillar gained popularity at the age of 21 by returning the Miss World crown to India after a gap of 17 years. Manushi received praise for her work and efforts throughout her time as Miss World in relation to her bold aim for the welfare of women. The stunning woman also received the Beauty With A Purpose Award for her outstanding efforts towards her project Shakti, which aimed to combat period poverty. The actor had also collaborated with UNICEF to spread knowledge about the new coronavirus during the difficult Covid days.
