Mumbai: A Malayalam actress has lodged a complaint with the police, alleging that she was harassed by a male passenger on an Air India flight from Mumbai to Kochi. The incident occurred on a Tuesday. She took to her social media to recount the ordeal, explaining that the passenger appeared to be intoxicated and was causing disruption. She expressed dissatisfaction with the airline's response, noting that they only relocated her to a different seat before takeoff.
Upon arriving in Kochi, she reported the matter to both airport and airline authorities, who directed her to the police. She also shared a copy of the complaint, which she had submitted via email, on her Instagram account. The actress described how the intoxicated passenger had taken her seat and engaged in a heated argument, which included inappropriate physical contact.
The actress has provided her statement to the police regarding the alleged harassment she experienced during her flight from Mumbai to Kochi on October 10. She went directly to the Nedumbassery police station to give her testimony.
