Mumbai: Amid the furor over Alia Bhatt's unauthorised pictures published by a media house, Ileana D'Cruz shared her views on the growing paparazzi culture. The actor said that she has had a taste of the pap culture and felt that it is not her cup of tea.
D'Cruz hardly gets spotted and when asked about the same, the Barfi actor said that she doesn't feel the need to share her whereabouts to get papped. With the emergence of paparazzi culture, celebrities are living under constant media glare. From salon to airport, photogs chase celebrities everywhere as they apparently get tipped off by most celebrities. Ileana, however, said that the pap culture is not meant for her.
The actor shared that she hates it when people term her absence as a vanishing act as she has wrapped up some significant projects and believes in doing good work quietly with her head down. Other than films and red carpets, how important is visibility for actors? For Ileana, it doesn't make much difference. The 36-year-old actor opined that bagging projects have more to do with personal equations than being seen in public. After working in the industry for nearly two decades, Ileana said that she prefers to work with like-minded people.
