Hyderabad: South celebrities, on Sunday, took to their social media accounts and sent warm birthday wishes to Malayalam superstar Mohanlal. From Mammootty to Prithviraj Sukumaran, Dulqer Salmaan, and Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan extended heartfelt birthday wishes to Mohanlal who turned 63 today.
Mammootty, who shares a great bond with Mohanlal dropped a throwback picture in which the Harikrishnans co-stars are seen holding hands. Sharing the picture, Mammootty wrote, "Happy birthday dear Lal.."
Wishing Mohanlal on his birthday, actor-filmmaker Prithviraj Sukumaran shared a special poster from the Lucifer sequel. Prithviraj and Mohanlal will be reuniting for Lucifer sequel which is titled L2: Empuraan. Wishing his leading man on his birthday, Prithviraj wrote, "Happy birthday KA! #L2E."
Minnal Murali star Tovino Thomas too took to social media to shower birthday love on the screen icon. Sharing a throwback picture with the superstar, Tovino wrote, "Happy birthday Laletta ❤️."
Dulquer Salmaan also hopped on to Twitter to extend birthday wishes to Mohanlal. Dulquer shared a stunning picture of the superstar and wrote, "Wishing everyone’s dearest, Lalettan the happiest of birthdays!! Waiting for your new releases just like all your fans and always praying for your health and safety 🤗🤗❤️❤️🎂🎂."
Mohanlal also received a warm birthday wish from Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Sharing a dashing picture of the National Award-winning actor, Vijayan wrote, "Happy birthday dear @Mohanlal," on micro-blogging site.
On the work front, Mohanlal has an interesting lineup of films which indicates that the sexagenarian superstar is in no mood to slowdown. The actor will be seen sharing screen space with Rajinikanth in Jailer. Helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the upcoming film will bring the two stalwarts of South cinema together for the first time.
Lucifer sequel aside, Mohanlal will be seen in Lijo Jose Pellissery's Malaikottai Vaaliban. Meanwhile, the actor is all set to make his directorial debut with Barroz: Guardian of Treasures. The fantasy drama will feature him in the titular role. Mohanlal also has Jeethu Joseph's action thriller Ram in his kitty.
