Hyderabad: After the Pune police interrupted his performance midway during a recent performance there, music composer AR Rahman took to social media platforms to speak about it. The performance was cut short because it flauted the 10 PM guideline. Reacting to the situation, AR Rahman on Monday, posted a video of himself performing live on stage with other musicians and singers .
In the video shared by the Oscar-winning singer, we can see a policeman storming on the stage and asking A R Rahman to immediately stop the concert. Sharing the video, Rahman wrote: "Thank you Pune for all the love and euphoria." He further added, "By the way we had a rockstar moment too ;)."
For the unversed, a police officer took to the stage, pointed to Rahman, and ordered his group to discontinue the performance. While all this was happening, Sadda Haq from the film Rockstar was playing in the background. In the final moments of the clip, A R Rahman grinned and said, "Okay. I believe we have given and received too much love. Time is up. I enjoyed it. I want to thank the Pune city, the organisers, and the great band. We hope to see you soon."
