Sambit Patra slams Navjot for his 'Black English' remark

New Delhi:BJP on Saturday attacked Congress over Navjot Singh Sidhu's sexist comment on PM Modi. Navjot had earlier said that PM is a 'Black English'.

In his reply Patra quoted a Bollywood song and said, "Hum bhartiye kaale hai toh kya hua magar dilwale hai, tu italian rang par itna guman na kar, 23 May ko ye utar jayega." (We Indians are black so what, we have a big heart. This Italian colour will fade away too on May 23).

Patra attacked Congress in a tweet while calling Navjot and Congress as sexist and racist. The tweet came in reply to Navjot's remark on Modi in which he said that PM is like a new bride who pretends to work but doesn't work in true sense. This is a new India. "Women don't just exist to make bread at home, but carry the country forward", Patra said.

In response to Time magazine's article which described PM as 'Divider in chief' Patra replied that the writer is a Pakistani citizen.
