The BJP's 2019 manifesto has several elements of the past. The saffron party, that made an array of promises in the 2014 manifesto, has incorporated a few points from it in this year 'Sankalp Patra' also.

New Delhi: With the 2019 General elections around the corner, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Monday released its manifesto highlighting several key issues. While some points appear to a be a follow-up of the party's 2014 previous manifesto that promised 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas', certain key issues have been repeated that continues to serve the major chunk of the population.

Some promises of 2014 made significant progress under the BJP-led NDA government, however, a few areas still need special attention.

Jammu and Kashmir: Article 370

BJP promised to abrogate Article 370 in its 2014 manifesto but failed to make any remarkable progress on this and had to repeat the resolution in 2019 Sankalp Patra released on Monday. The resettlement of Kashmiri Pandits in the valley also found a place in the party's 2019 Lok Sabha election manifesto.

Farmers

Much like the previous manifesto, the promise of doubling farmers income also finds a place in BJP's 2019 manifesto.

Ram Temple

The construction of Ram temple that BJP promised in 2014 manifesto also found a place in its 2019 manifesto.

Uniform Civil Code

The uniform civil code that was a topic of debate in the past is also reflected in this year's manifesto of the ruling BJP.

Adding to it, the development of infrastructure, education, effort towards agricultural growth continue to were other few repeat promises mentioned in BJP's 2019 manifesto similar 2014.
