Chandigarh: A sensational and shocking case has come to light in Chandigarh. Here, a 14-year-old minor girl was rescued by the Government Railway Police (GRP) from Chandigarh police station. The girl arrived in Chandigarh with a young man. The GRP officials present there called the Child Helpline and handed over the minor girl.
The incident came to light when Child Helpline director Sangeeta Jand spoke to the girl. The victim narrated her ordeal. The minor girl is a resident of Pune. She had made a plan to come to Chandigarh with a friend. Her friend asked her to meet him at the Mumbai railway station.

She reached the Mumbai railway station without informing her parents and family members. On reaching the Mumbai railway station, she couldn't find her friend. Later, an auto driver approached her and informed her that his friend is waiting outside the railway station.
